With the rapid development of globalization and group scale of Sichuan Honghua Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd., according to the developing plan made by chairman of board, Mr. Zhang mi the professional training business is the long term sustainable strategic developing direction of Honghua, also the highlight of Honghua competitive power in the future, Honghua training department was set up in October,2005.

Within the past 3 years of training business, Honghua training department successfully supplied the professional skill training of more than 600 drilling platform manager, engineers, mechanical technicians, electric technicians and drillers for eleven domestic oilfields as Daqing, Jianghan, Tuha,Huabei, CPTDC, CONNC, Hongkong,  Chuanqin,Hailong, Greatwall, etc., and 13 overseas oilfields of Russian Euro-Asia Company, Russian North Drilling, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, UAE, India,Omen,Pakistan,USA,Brazil, Sudan, Iran, Egypt, etc. Meanwhile, we cooperated with American NABORS company, CQUST, Sichuan University , Xihua University , Southwest Petroleum University , held many international professional driller's classes, mechanical technician classes, electrician classes, modern driller classes, and trained 149 international service talents with abilities of theories, skills and languages.
By realizing Honghua's strategic plan about “Improve training softwares and hardwares, develop training from simple low level to middle & high level, from multi-profession to multi-subject, from supplying training inside Honghua to commercial training on the global market, Honghua has had a important breakthrough in the training facility field. We have a set of ZJ10DBS training rig, 5 multimedia classrooms for 300 trainees to have lessons altogether. Honghua also invested more than 1 million RMB to deploy self-developed electric teaching simulation platform, hydraulic teaching simulation platform and HPU, which can fully meet the modern skill training requirements of international professional drilling staff.

After the training history of more than 3 years, our training software construction has be fulfilled.

Honghua Training department has a stable teaching team of more than 60 full-time and part-time teachers. Among them, 70 % have senior professional positions, 95% have Intermediate level professional positions.

Reguarding training trainees practical skills as our aim, we has organized teachers in all fields with their own rich theory base and on-site work experiences to written a full set of professional training materials of more than 1.3 million words, which includes professional driller, drilling electric technician (engineer) and drilling mechanical technician. This set of teaching materials are accordance with the advanced technologies of modern drilling equipments, and with the features of “realistic, professional, easy to understand”, they can meet the training of Honghua international technician, and also can be the study materials and references for relative major students in petroleum colleges, rig operators in oilfields and those maintenance technicians as Internal Materials.

We have successfully developed lots of multimedia coursewares such as “Instruction of ZJ-50DBS Drilling Rig Installation”, “On-site Lubrication Guide of DBS Drilling Rig”, “Video Tutorial of Hydraulic disc brake”, “Driller's Operation Guide of DBS drilling rig” and “Typical Case Analysis of Drilling Rig Equipment Failures and Accidents”, which greatly enhanced the training effect, supply full technical support function of training for Honghua rig's after service and set a solid base for Honghua's remote network training platform in the future.
